Accru Partners Norway: Welcomes new CEO
Meet Nicolas Lemarchand, the new CEO of Accru Partners Norway
With extensive experience in building and scaling multi-site businesses, Nicolas Lemarchand joins Accru Partners as CEO of the Norwegian organisation. We spoke with Nicolas about his new role, the opportunities ahead and his ambitions for Accru in Norway.
Could you tell us about your professional background?
Before joining Accru Partners, I was CEO of Vetopia France, another Axcel-owned group. Prior to that, I held leadership roles at Circle K and led a private equity-backed tax-reclaim platform in France.
The common thread throughout my career has been building and scaling businesses with strong local roots – creating the structure needed for sustainable growth without losing what makes each part successful.

We want to help good ideas travel across the group while allowing every firm to retain its identity, culture and independence.

What attracted you to Accru Partners?
Accru has a distinctive model: strong, independent firms are brought together in a group that aims to add value rather than control their day-to-day operations.
The opportunity to help shape this model in Norway and develop a way of working that genuinely supports our partner firms was particularly appealing.
What will be your main priorities during your first year?
I have three main priorities. The first is to establish a clear framework for how we work with and support our firms. The second is operational excellence, including how AI, technology and shared tools can make every firm even more effective.
The third is growth – but not growth for its own sake. We want to welcome firms that share our culture and ambitions and can make the group stronger.
How would you describe Accru’s position in Norway today?
We have a strong and diverse foundation of 16 firms across Norway, each with an established position in its local market or area of expertise.
Much of this is thanks to my predecessor, Morten, who did an excellent job of building trusted relationships with the firms. My role is to build on that foundation and ensure that being part of Accru provides a clear and visible advantage.
Where do you see the greatest opportunities?
One of our greatest opportunities is to help our firms learn more from one another. When something works well in one region or specialist area, we want to make it easier for others to benefit from that experience.
This is not about changing how the firms operate. It is about helping good ideas travel across the group while allowing every firm to retain its identity, culture and independence.

How would you like to work with the Norwegian firms?
I want to be present, engaged and available, while respecting the expertise and independence of each firm. Local leaders know their clients, employees and markets best.
At group level, our role is to support, connect and uphold shared standards. By providing clear structures, useful forums and regular communication, we can strengthen both collaboration and accountability without creating unnecessary rigidity.
What do you hope Accru Norway will have achieved in the next few years?
I want to see a Norwegian group in which every firm is thriving individually while also being visibly stronger through its connection to Accru.
That means sustainable growth, meaningful collaboration and shared best practices. Our ambition is for Accru to become the natural home for Norway’s leading independent firms – and to grow by welcoming the right partners, never simply for growth’s sake.
Personally, I am most looking forward to getting to know our 16 firms and their leadership teams and helping turn a group of already strong individual firms into an even stronger collective.
